LR 19—An act to Promote Energy Independence
This would establish rebates and no-interest loans for the purchase of energy efficient gas or oil furnaces and alternative fuel furnaces such as pellet and bio-brick.
LR 59—An act to Secure and Protect Maine’s Groundwater
This would fold groundwater into the same protections as surface water making it part of the public trust. This would permit Maine to benefit economically from the resource as demand for it grows in international markets and, at the same time protect the resource from abuse and exploitation by large multi-national corporations with no allegiance to Maine.
LR 105—An act to Eliminate Consitutional Rights of Corporations in Order to Remedy the harms That Corporations May Cause to the People of the State
This would ensure that the democratic rights of Mainer’s derived from the Declaration of Independence are protected from the harm and abuse posed by corporation with unlimited and uncontrolled power.
