How You Can Help
Dear Friends,
Our campaign to win the senate seat in district 2 is well underway. We have successfully raised our seed money. We are now embarking on stage two of the clean election process. We need to raise a total of 175 five-dollar donations to qualify for clean election funding. As this is a sizable task we have set of goal to conclude the fund-raiser by February 15th. We hope you will encourage others to participate.
How to donate:
Method 1
- Checks can be made payable to Maine Clean Election Fund or MCEF in the amount of five-dollars and mailed to:
Rick Burns
P.O. 40
Berwick, ME
03901
- If you are a couple making the contribution and both names appear on the check, one check can be made out for $10.00. The form that must accompany the check can be found at: http://www.maine.gov/ethics/pdf/forms/2010/can/receipt_and_acknowledgement.pdf
Method 2
- You also have the option of donating online via the Ethics Commission website: https://www5.informe.org/cgi-bin/online/ethics/cleanelection/home.pl This is a secure website and a safe and easy way to help us meet our goal.
- The campaign is also in need of volunteers from each town, to work in each town:
Acton, Berwick, Cornish, Lebanon, Limerick, Newfield, North Berwick, Parsonsfield, Shapleigh and Wells.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Rick @ RickBurnsSenate2@hotmail.com or at home @ 698-1526, or Charles L. Mullins, Campaign Manager at sandraj1@metrocast.net or 636-3475.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Rick Burns
